Terms of service.

You can use scen if:

• You're 18 years or older
• You're currently enrolled at a college we've launched at
• You've never been banned from scen before
• You agree to these terms and our community guidelines

You're responsible for everything that happens on your account. Keep your login secure. One person, one account. No selling or sharing accounts.

While using scen, you agree NOT to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone
• Send unsolicited explicit content (this gets you banned immediately)
• Impersonate someone else
• Use scen for commercial purposes without permission
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute scen content
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or break scen
• Share screenshots of other users' profiles or chats outside the app

Violations result in account warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity.

You own your content. By posting it on scen, you give us permission to display it within the app. We don't use your photos for advertising. We don't share confessions or messages outside scen.

If you delete your content, it's removed from public view immediately and from our backups within 30 days.

scen is a platform — we facilitate connections but don't mediate them. We're not responsible for what happens between users on or off the app. We'll moderate violations of these terms, but we're not your relationship counselor.

Meeting strangers — even verified students — carries risk. Use judgment. Meet in public for first meetups. Tell a friend where you're going. If you feel unsafe, leave and report.

We have an in-app block and report system. Reports go to a human moderator within 24 hours.

scen is free to use. We offer optional paid features. All payments are processed by our payment partners (Razorpay/Stripe). Refunds are case-by-case — email billing@scen.in.

You can delete your account at any time from settings or via our data deletion page.

We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, community guidelines, or applicable laws.

scen is provided "as is." We don't guarantee you'll find a match, friend, or partner. We don't guarantee the app will be available 24/7 (we try). We're not liable for losses arising from your use of the app, beyond what's required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

You agree to defend and hold scen harmless from claims arising from your conduct on the platform — including content you post, people you meet, and how you treat them.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed and shown as a banner in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
