Delete your data.

Two ways to permanently delete your scen account and everything we have on you.

Option 01

Delete from the app

  1. 1.Open the scen app and go to Profile.
  2. 2.Tap the settings icon in the top right.
  3. 3.Scroll to Account → Delete account.
  4. 4.Confirm. Your account and all data are queued for deletion immediately.
Option 02

Delete by email

If you can't access the app — phone lost, account locked, banned — email us:

privacy@scen.in

Include the email or phone number you signed up with. We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion within 7 business days.

Timeline

Immediately
Your profile disappears from other users' feeds. You can no longer log in.
Within 24 hours
Your account is marked for deletion. All active sessions are revoked.
Within 30 days
All your data is permanently deleted from production and backups.
After 30 days
Some anonymized aggregate stats may remain (number of matches, app usage) but cannot be linked back to you.

What we're required to keep

A small set of data may be retained beyond deletion when legally required:

  • Financial transaction records (if any) — 7 years per Indian tax law
  • Abuse reports and safety actions — to prevent re-registration of banned accounts
  • Audit logs of the deletion itself — to prove we did what you asked
